A CO2-adsorber/scrubber removes carbon dioxide from cold stores and next to it parts of ethylene.
It contains active carbon, which enables it to adsorb (bind) the CO2 molecules.
The CO2 is effectively removed from the cold store by transporting the air from the cold store through
the active carbon and then back to the cold store.
In addition to a control panel, in which the operation of each cold storage unit is programmed, the adsorber is equipped with a 'scrubber lung'. This patented ULO system guarantees ultra low oxygen operation which results in almost no oxygen entering the cold store. The low pressure ventilator limits energy consumption to a minimum which is an important advantage because an adsorber operates for a large part of the day.
Why the Besseling CO2 adsorber?
Proven Technology, simple, reliable and sustainable
Minimum quantity of oxygen in cell (ideal for ULO)
Low energy consumption
Low service requirements
Efficient use of active carbon
Rigid EBRO double value on both adsorber and coldstores
Extremely user-friendly
